Just made a team-- have lots of questions!!!

I just started making a team for my husband, Jayson, who is NHL survivor! I only wish we would have started sooner... since the walk is just about a month away we have lots of organizing to do and since we signed up so late, all the kick off meetings took place, so I think we could use some help. So as I understand it, whoever on my team raises a $100 will get a shirt. Does everyone get to carry a balloon or to carry one you have to raise $100? Also, kids are allowed to walk, what about baby srtollers? I have a few friends with small children. O- and a banner for our team, How do we go about getting one? And the day of the walk I'm sure I have to sign in some where, do I need to be really early or can do it the day before? And also, fundraising ideas... I welcome any, so please anyone with a minute to give me some advice or tips or answer some of my questions, Our team would greatly appreciate it, Thanks so Much!!!

Re: Just made a team-- have lots of questions!!!

I started a team kinda late too and this will be our first walk. From talking to the LTN coordinator at our LLS office it looks like they give us a shirt and balloon coupon/voucher/ticket (whatever you want to call it) for each $100 our team raises. So it doesn't necessarily have to be an individual person that has to raise the $100, they can benefit by the team making it. I'm not sure if every LLS office does it this way though. The walk we are participating is in stroller friendly, but I'm guessing some locations might not be. I got our banner and all of my team supplies when I went to the LLS office in person to pick them up.

I recommend you talk to your LLS coordinator it'll really help you get more prepared.
