23andME Genetic Research for MPN Patients

The for profit company, 23andME is offering free DNA test kits to all MPN patients who qualify for their study. I'm not supporting it necessarily, just making people aware that it's out there.

 

 

 

MPN Patients will receive free DNA test kit and will be eligible for all of the benefits of membership ie: Ancestory info and Genetic studies.

 

I just found this interesting.

    I have made use of 23andMe's offer. They have given me a full free membership in their organization which includes health as well as ancestry. I feel that if there is anything I can do to help further research efforts, I will do that.

     

    Not only do I have CML but I have a history of another cancer... Sarcoma, which they are researching also.
