This morning was bittersweet for me...i got mail from po box and got a LLS mailer from my friend that recently lost his wife to cancer.  She was a beautiful, smart and loving woman!  Her husband sent me a check donation for LLS and I know it's for her memory...Denise is loved and missed!

I met a man at the gym today who waved at me and started a conversation.  Apparently, Marshall has done several LLS marathons/runs and saw my LLS shirt and happened to be wearing his, too!  it was a small world, of sorts... He found out today a fracture in his foot was going to sideline him from running for 3 months and was going to have to take a break from LLS marathon training...he's done the same marathon i'm running, twice before...and several other Leukemia and Lymphoma races...i was truly inspired...but...tough break about his foot... (corny pun intended)....my prayers are with him for a speedy and full recovery so he can get 'back out there' and help raise awareness and funds for cancer research with LLS!!!! Nice meeting you, Marshall!
