Biography:
My name is Denise. I just turned 50 on May 5th and found out the following day that I have Hodgkins. What a shock.
I have returned to school and am in a PhD program for Instructional Technology, and I can tell you that having cancer and having to go through treatment was definitely not on my "plan of work."
I have been in a committed relationship with a woman for 30 years. We are avid pet lovers and currently have an older cat and an even older dog. They are our fur children.

Expertise:
I have been working as a therapist my entire career and have worked in a variety of mental health settings. Although I have found much joy in my work, my return to school was prompted by a need to expand and my love of education. As an instructional technologist I will be developing educational programs.
