The 2009 American Society of Hematology (ASH) lymphoma abstracts are now available for everyone to view on my website.

For those who are new, each year all the worlds leading haematologists, clinicians, and researchers gather for the massive ASH convention to present the results of their research, and clinical trials. Over 10,000 attend and THOUSANDS of research papers are presented, representing the most cutting edge information in the field of haematology available.
I gather all the NHL related abstracts and compile them into a single web page and post it on my website. There are over 550 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma abstracts in every category. To ensure they very easy to search there is a table of contents at the top listing the different categories. Click a category and you go to a list of abstracts on that topic. Click a title that interests you to read the abstract. Or just search the page for a keyword on a specific topic to quickly find studies on that topic. (For example search for tositumomab to find studies about Bexxar)
This represents the most leading edge research in the world, and there is something there for everyone. Equally important, the 2006-2008 compilations are also still available. They are every bit as important as the 2009 list because most authors only publish the updated results of their studies about every 3-5 years so you may find the most recent results in a previous year.

I am sure you will find the information they present this year every bit as informative and full of hope as previous years.

Once again, Greg, thank you so much for all the dedicated time and energy you put into your web-site so that we may find hopeful information about lymphoma. May you be richly blessed for your giving spirit.
Hugs,

The ASH convention was this past weekend. The news is full of press releases of some of the most important breakthroughs this year.
Here is the first batch regarding LENALIDOMIDE (brand name REVLIMID) for indolent lymphomas. (Bendamustine is getting tons of attention as the new replacement for R-CHOP for indolent lymphoma)
The first study has a 75% response rate with 31% complete response.
Preliminary Results of a Phase II Study of Lenalidomide and Rituximab inRelapsed / Refractory Indolent Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL)

Another study using lenalidomide for relapsed refractory indolent lymphoma.
Phase II Trial of Lenalidomide - Dexamethasone - Rituximab in Relapsed or Refractory Indolent B-Cell or Mantle Cell Lymphomas Resistant to Rituximab

A third one looks at lenalidomide as upfront therapy for indolent lymphoma.

Thanks, Greg
Your work is always appreciated. I am still considering Rituxan maintenance but it is nice to know of other options.
