Teeth and Tummy

Hi there I'm Bridget. I am finished with treatment, six cycles of ABVD and one month of radiation.  I had stage 2a Hodgkins Lymprhoma.  I was wondering if anyone else has experienced teeth sensitivity? I have had cavities replaced on one side of my mouth post treatment but now it's the opposite side that hurts when I scrub them.  I have been having stomach issues but that is from radiation they did the very top of my tummy.  I take an anti acid medicine that seems to help with that and my symptoms are nothing to what they were during radiation.  I've come to accept my tummy can't handle what it used to.  My dr told me that because of the chemo my teeth could decay faster.  Just curious if anyone has dealt with this or heard of this.

Thanks,

Bridget

I did not experience tooth sensitivity with ABVD, but I definitely did with ICE. It may have been from the neulesta shot shot... I'm not sure.

Re: Teeth and Tummy

Hamish had lots of teeth problems afterwards Bridget and ended up with 11 fillings inbetween his teeth ... so do watch that area. I too believe it was chemo though it took some convincing the dentist and onc team ... why is that ?
