Hi everyone! this past Sunday I sold beads to the tailgaters at my local NFL game. I cleared out my local Party City of all of the green and silver beads and sold them 2/$3. After 2 hours of walking around (not by myself with other TnT-ers) I made $120 profit which I promptly deposited and paid to my website. This idea came from my coordinator. I recommend this to anyone, especially if you plan on going to a game anyways. I was going to sell beads at the playoff game on Sunday, but the game starts at 8 pm so I don't expect too many tailgaters. I may be going back to sell more beads at the next home game though!
Baseball (which I presume are the playoffs you speak of) isn't the same as football (wait that sounds pretty obvious), but I mean the fans. They do not tailgate the same as football. But actually football usually works great. College football too. I have heard success at high school games to if you can get the school on board to help a charity. At a Navy game a participant and some kids raised a thousand, but they did stop soliciting in the parking lot eventually, so that is something to watch for.
Good luck. Train Well. Raise lots
Thanks for the reply Rick! I will actually be out at the Eagles game again this Sunday selling the beads. I bought different beads than the ones I had last time and plan on selling them for $2 each. A teammate said she would be joining me, and hopefully some others will come out too!
