My WBC is going way up and my blasts are returning after my DLI in June for my treatment related MDS, so the docs are thinking of putting me on a phase II trial using Velcade and Vorinostat, 2 chemotherapy drugs. I feel fine and am not looking forward to more chemo! I can't believe my blood tests are so bad when I feel so good. I know Velcade has been around, has anyone had any experience with it? How about side effects? Or Vorinostat? Maybe they are just pointing me towards this trial as it is local here at the University of Minnesota.
