"Unexpected Error"

I've been receiving a lot of "An Unexpected Error Has Occured" messages lately. As this software doesn't keep our old text like the old one used to (if you hit the back button the text you typed was still in the window), this has lost a number of posts that have to be retyped.

Please check into this.

Thanks for sharing that you encountered this. When you get this error again please share here what you were doing at the time (i.e. drafting a reply or new thread, or reading a thread or blog post). This way we can try to replicate the error. At this time we do not have an explanation for this ocurring.

It has happened when replying and starting a new thread. I don't remember it when just reading.

I got a feeling it's one of those "space man" things. Like when you have a noise in your car but it goes away when you take it to the mechanic.

I think it's a server error and you might want to have some IT folks look at the general shape of the server.

We actually checked in with IT about it possibly being the server, and they have advised that the server is not the issue in this particular type of error. We will try to replicate, but you're right - may not happen consistently for us or you!
