Hello everyone! My name is Chuck White and I live in Bakersfield, California. In August of 2006 my 12 yrold son Joshua was diagnosed with Leukemia. Later in the year I signed on with TNT and began training for SDRNR. Unfortunately, in May 2007 my son passed away and I had to drop out of training. Later that year, I signed on again to make good on my promise to my son. June of 2008, I made good on that promise and completed the marathon for Josh. My fundraising efforts will not stop there.

I have now come up with another way to raise money. I have started a Team In Training Co-Ed softball team. Every member of my team has been effected by cancer in one way or another. For example: You now know my story, but one of my best friends Brandon has been battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. He is currently in Remission and plays on the team. This team is committed to raisig as much money as we can by playing in Tournaments throughout the state. We pay our own entrance fees into these tournaments but, need new uniforms. This is where I ask for your help! If anyone can help us purchase new uniforms it would help us tremendously cause, we want to play for a cure and represent Team In Training as much as we can.  So, please feel free to contact me should you be able to help!!
