Hallo, I often use Firefox, a great browser, and sometimes go to Tools - Options - Safety - saved password to read and erase the passwords for the sites that I visit. You know, I really don't think there is. I've only used FireFox a little bit, because I hate the layout of it, but I know what you're talking about, and I'm pretty sure the only way to access that section is to go the route you're taking.
