I'm not personally going (I wish!), but my sister Becca is doing it!  This will be her first TNT event - I'm so proud!  We're both in Minnesota, but I was previously on Team Utah.

My 19 year old daughter and I are going to SF! We are so excited to get this opportunity to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Cancer made me feel so damned powerless. I am thankful for something helpful to take part in. I haven't been athletic in 20 years, but have now lost 61 pounds (25 more to go!) and I started "jogging" a few months ago. This morning my daughter and I ran together. I can now go for 6 miles at a 9-something pace. One week at a time! We will get to 26.2 miles!

For Zoe, my beautiful daugher I lost -- and for all the children -- I would run around the world.

I'm going!    This is my first marathon ever, and I'm running with the Stockton, CA group.  One of my best friends got me to join TNT, and she's going to be in SF with the Monterey group.  I'm looking forward to it!

Hi, Everyone

I'm writing in from Ketchum, Idaho, wher I'm training for the half-marathon in San Francisco in honor of my mom, who just completed chemo for CLL this spring. Her doctor has received significant funding from LLS , and so I'm so grateful to be able to contribute to the organization in this way. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this process--as the family member of a leukemia patient, I appreciate so much all of the effort everyone is puttin forth. Thanks!
