Neuropathy/Cramping following CHOP?

I have had quite a lot of cramping and neuopathy following my treatment of six months of chemo-CHOP with Rituxin. I also had contracted a blood clot in my leg and on that part am not sure if it was chemo related directly or because I bumped my leg. Has nayone else had cramping? Mine is subsided now a lot from what it was but still persists in milder form in toes, fingers, parts of my feet, etc.

Re: Neuropathy/Cramping following CHOP?

I  did suffer badly with neuropathy in my finger tips and my left leg after having RCVP. Before having RCVP I was on a Rituxin trial for 2 years to evaluate if having Rituxin as a first option treatment is more beneficial than the watchful waiting as is normal for FNHL. Boy did I suffer badly from cramps when on the trial. Especially in my hands . I likened it to becoming a member of the 'Secret Claw Society'. None of my Oncs took much notice when I mentioned it. They seemed  not to recognise it as a side effect of Rituxin at all. Although lots of my fellow LLS posters did........Tony

Very bad cramping in my feet and calves during R-CHOP and shortly afterwards.  Always at night. Went away in a few months.

Hi Robert,

I know this is a late reply, but I had cramps - mostly in my toes! - for months and months after 6 CHOP-R. They gradually subsided.

Yes! I had cramps, and still have them occasionally at 41/2 tears since my stem cell transplant.

There was an earlier thread about this on the old board. About 3 years ago.

Some say to eat peanuts and bananas because they contain magnesium which is supposed to help cramps in general.
