I am really interested in participating in this adventure. I am a bit nervous about the fundraising because if I cannot meet the goal, I don't really have that much money to supplement. Can someone tell me what the required minimum goal is for fundraising and if anyone has alot of trouble meeting it? I don't want to NOT participate just because I am not financially stable enough to supplement what I don't raise. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks...Trace

Every event has a different fundraising amount. The amount will also have something t do with how far you live from the particular event. Go to one the information meetings of contact your local office to get more information. Where I live they have a fundraising clinic to help you come up with ideas. There is also a time where they do a re-commit. This is usually about 70 days before the event. You can usually gauge how well you are doing with fundraising and decide whether to commit the rest of the fundraising or not at that time. GO LUCK!

Hi Trace,

1st thing is; do something local so the amount is low, then second; Do Not Try to raise the Minimum. Try to raise at less twice the Minimum. If you read on this site you will find that almost everyone including myself at one to had those same concerns. Start early and just like the training for the run, there is training for the fundraising. Read the decision on this TNT site called ( Your WebSite) Art and Mary wrote this guide for your Fundraising web site that is out of this world ! TNT will set you up with a website for your fundraising, then you use Art and Mary's guide and just watch what happens. God Bless you and hope you decide to become one of us purple. You Can Do This !

Thank You Ken from Melbourne, Florida

As a mentor I can tell you that YOU CAN DO IT! We do not let our particiapants think of those concerns. We have done several group fundraisers and none of our participants have ever not raised the minimim. With the training comes the fundraising. And that is what TEAM is all about. Have no worries...your TEAM is behind you.
