Triple Crown- Now What?

Let's hear from our triple crown winners and others who have done many events on possilbe future awards. With TNT, I've done 5 events:

Lake Tahoe Century, Chicago Marathon, San Diego Marathon, Indianapolis Mini Marathon, Lake Elkhart Triathlon.

Doing events with TNT reminds me of getting married. When you first get married, there is a lot of excitement. However, you eventually have to find a way to keep the relationship going after all that initial excitement dies down. While knowing somone (or being that someone) with blood cancer is enough motivation for many people, it never hurts to have other goals for people to go after. Here are some possible ideas for TNT to consider in addition to the triple crown award:

How about a 10 event award?

How about an award for each 5 different cities that you do an event in?

How about the Double Triple Crown award? And, the Triple Triple Crown.

Who else has some ideas?

I got a 10 event certificate and neat TNT gifts at the Alumni Reunion held in conjunction with the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon in 2005.

Ask your chapter if they still honor alumni in this way.

I have my first triple crown and I am working on my second! For my first triple crown my chapter put together a bag of goodies for me and presented them to me at one of the Kick-off Parties! It was great! I was the first in my chapter to get my triple crown! I will get my second triple crown either at Nike Marathon or Disney Marathon in 2008! I think it would be cool to have some other "special" things for those of us that are crazy and keep coming back to TNT! At some events there is a special party for those that raised over a certain amount, perhaps there should be a party for those that have raised over a specific amount in their lifetime or completed over a certain number of events! But with that said, that means they would be spending more money on us and I think I would rather have that money go to the cause!
