I honestly don't know if I can choose just one moment. I have so many. My 10 year old daughter was an honored hero for the summer '07 season. After a couple of informational meetings I joined TNT in honor of her and in memory of a dear 2 year old friend who had just lost his battle with ALL a couple of days before. The moment I turned in my registration, I knew I was going to be changed. I loved the feeling after my first group training. I had conquered the hills in a local park and was so proud of myself! As I was nearing the finish line in the Mini Marathon, my mentor was at the sidelines and had my son with him. My son came running out on the course to give me a big hug. I was in tears! Crossing the finish line was such a triumph! Then finding my daughter in the family reunion area was the best. It was all for her!!! I have since given the mission moment at the fall season kick off and have spoken with my kids at other LLS events. My life did change the night I registered with TNT just as I knew it would!
