Have you participated in a Weekend Sail With Gary Jobson?

The 2009 Weekend Sail With Gary Jobson is taking place October 16-18 in San Francisco, CA.  If you have participated in past Fantasy Sails with Gary Jobson, share your experience!

Fantasy Sail Weekend

The 2009 Fantasy Sail weekend really lived up to its name. The San
Francisco Bay offered excellent sailing conditions with the beautiful
skyline and Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop. The host members from the
San Francisco Yacht Club could not have been more gracious, and the
Fantasy Sail committee did an excellent job with the events, food and
logistics. We really enjoyed getting to know Gary Jobson, who made a
sincere effort to socialize with all of the attendees and hop on
different boats to help everyone improve their racing skills. We were
one of the lucky ones who got a 2nd place finish with Gary onboard. It
was also fun meeting different people from around the country who share
our passion for sailing and the desire to help in the fight against
leukemia.

We became heavily involved in the Leukemia Cup Regatta 2 years ago when
my 7 year old great-niece was diagnosed with ALL. She is near the end
of her 26 month treatment, but it has been a tough road. We just pray
that she will remain in remission for the rest of her life. While
soliciting donations from my contact list, I was surprised to learn how
many other people I know have been affected by this devastating
disease. I also learned how truly important the Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society is, not only for the funds raised to help find a cure, but as
an invaluable resource for information and support.

Kudos to Gary Jobson and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for hosting a
great event and cause.
