This past weekend we celebrated my son Chad's 5 year mark. With each passing year we feel more relieved and blessed. Although I don't post as much as I once did I do lurk on a regular basis. I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. My friends and family all say aren't you glad this is behind you, it never truly is. How can you ever forget that your child had cancer? Now a days we just try to keep raising awareness for stem cell research. I share Chad's story all the time, because I feel that at some point everyone's life will be touched with cancer. When it is I want them to have something positive to think about instead of all the negative out there. Chad is doing fairly well, we are starting to see some long term effects of treatment. But to date too minor to complain about.....I wish you all much success on your path, and as always.....God Speed.

What wonderful news. This has really lifted my spirits today. Congratulations to Chad and all of your family Sue! I know that you may never be able to forget, but no matter what, nothing can take away these wonderful 5 years, and the many more Chad will have.
