Chlorambucil is an older drug for CLL and is used as a comparator in some clinical trials. Dr. Terry Hamblin a renowned CLL expert has written about this drug: http://mutated-unmuated.blogspot.com/2009/01/side-effects.html
Thank you for sharing you experience and question.. Many of us have had the same questions as you are
Cllcanada... thank you.. you share great information.. and websites... which are very good reading...
Chlorambucil has been around for years... Your doctor may have experience with this treatment. It may keep you count stable.
CLL is tricky.. each of us is special... I have had Rituxan maintance.. to keep my counts in check.
Chlorambucil seems like a another option. Which may not fit everyones CLL option plan
Please keep us updated on your experience I know I will be comparing notes..and many others will also..

I don't go back untill end of April !!! But I caught a cold over the holiday, fri will be day 10 so I'm thinking it may be time to start the antibiotics even though i only have a slight fever in the very early morning hrs.
