Excellent news! I continue to fight for PCR coverage. I have a host of denial letters from BC/BS. They now have stopped paying for BCR/ABL the letters state the testing is experimental and unnecessary for the disease. Huh?

So glad you have yours covered, with this disease the testing is a large part of the battle.

Hi Lucky,

Switching labs plain sucks. Results are not productive and moving from IS to non IS, sometimes without even knowing unless like you said, you ask. I have been switched three times for labs in the past year. I just had my latest PCR test done Monday, I should know by 2nd week of June. This is yet another new lab so I am also not calling for results. I can't add anything to make you feel better but I can say I relate to your situation. My insurance no longer covers the PCR or the BCR/ABL tests but the oncologist office found a lab that pays for the BCR/ABL test for one year. I have 8 more months before I have to worry about that. We all have our private Hell, hate the disease.

Glad you found answers, your doc is excellent, and your testing results were positive! Keep those lucky rocket ship drawers on, they are working.

Prom, in our area the junior prom is the biggie, there is no senior prom, although they attend the junior prom. It took a bit to set up, but worth the cost and effort. Relationships come and go but photos last a lifetime. We discussed them going out to eat, but they don't get out of school till noon and need to be at the school at 5:30, so the photographer Lisa Milliron suggested a picnic in the woods, provided the bistro set and I ran with the idea from there.

Life adjustments prove difficult no matter what the changes. Insurance fights have been horrible, but others still have rougher time. I don't like living alone that many days, but right now it is where we have to be. School keeps me busy and the young man got a part time job as his school in maintenance this year, so I will be taxi all summer. Reason to make myself get up and get moving. Glad to be back, has been frustrating not to be able to get in. Chrome was the only way I could find. Blah!
