Hi Brett,

Disney is where dreams come true and you are making people;s dreams come true when you run it. I have done 4 Disney's and all I can say is be prepared. One year it was just of 30 degrees at the start, for that bring old socks for your hands and bags to ware over your clothes to keep you warm. Bring salt packs for the run because even if it starts cold it will warm up and there is a lot of water stops, but people will ask for salt.

When you get to where the start, hit the bathroom before entering your section. Once they start the race and opened your section DO NOT RUN TO THE START! Walk, your time does not start until you step on the starting pad.

I am on the Central Florida Team, Last thing go to The Pasta Party and the V-Party at the V-Party go to the front of the room and you will find my coaches Barry, Michelle and Joy. Give them a hug for me.

And while you are there with Thousands and Thousands of TNT Members make a wish that our dreams come true!

I won't be running Disney this year, but I will be there in heart and spirit.

And helping my friends fundraising for Disney.

Hi Marjorie,

I also travel a lot, So what I do is go to www.teamintraining.org put in the zip code of the city I am going to to work at the top of the page where it says find chapter. Then at the top of the next page you will find Local Staff Contacts; click on that and it will give you the names,phone numbers, and emails to the local team. Then they will let you know where and when they are running. It is alot of fun and you makes a lot of real good friends that may be running the same event you are. You just never know.

That was the season I join and ran my first disney. I was told my sister would not make it two months, but she was still around to laugh after seeing pictures from my 2nd year in 2006 and she asked me to do it again. She died hours after I made that promise and she must still be laughing in heaven, because I can't stop.

I was hurt and could not do Disney this year, so I am doing Alaska. And I am so glad I am, I have a summer team that make me look sane!http://community.lls.org/images/emoticons/laugh.gif!

2 COACHES THAT HELPED ME DURING WDW MARATHON '09

I JUST WANTED TO TRY TO FIND THE COACHES THAT HELPED ME AT THE END OF THE WDW MARATHON. I THINK THEY WERE FROM ONE OF THE FLORIDA CHAPTERS. I WAS TALKING TO A FELLOW CHAPTER MEMBER FROM I THINK SOUTH FLORIDA CHAPTER "ELLEN" AND THEY CAME UP AND THEY KNEW HER. THEY CRACKED A JOKE SAYING THAT SHE WAS A TROUBLEMAKER AND DON'T TALK TO YOU, JOKINGLY OF COURSE. I SAID TO THEM I NEEDED A LITTLE HELP TO GET TO THE FINISH LINE AS MY QUADS WERE SO TIGHT IT WAS SOO HARD TO RUN. THEY HELPED ME NOT TO THE TOTAL END BUT TO ALMOST THE END. I JUST WANT TO THANK THEM SOO MUCH BECAUSE THEY DID HELP ME IMMENSELY TO FINISH. THEY JUST CHEERED ME ON. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO TELL THEM PERSONALLY AND NOT ON A BLOG LIKE THIS. PLEASE IF YOU ARE ONE OF THEM, I BELONG TO THE WNY & FINGERLAKES CHAPTER HERE IN NEW YORK. IF YOU KNOW THESE GUYS, PLEASE TELL THEM.

Hey Eric! I am with the Bakersfield, Ca Team and have been for the last two years! I lost my 12 yrold son to Leukemia. I can't get enough of wanting to help those who are enduring this stuff!!!
