LLS is featured today in supplements in two major top-tier media outlets: Fortune magazine and The Washington Post. Both supplements include full-page Someday is Today ads, as well as editorial content.
Fortune’s special supplement entitled “Giving From the Heart” highlights some of the nation’s top nonprofit organizations. The LLS feature article includes interviews with LLS Board Chairman Tim Durst, CEO John Walter and Board Member Jim Davis.
"Blood Health" is a supplement in today's The Washington Post, with a cover story about Good Morning America's Robin Roberts and her battle with myelodysplastic syndromes. LLS Chief Policy and Advocacy Office Mark Velleca, M.D., Ph.D., has a bylined article in the issue about the critical importance of helping patients overcome the obstacles to getting the therapies they need to survive their blood cancer diagnoses.
These are just the latest examples of how LLS is raising its profile and increasing awareness of the impact we are having on the cancer landscape through our Someday is Today platform.
