Ethan Zohn, a household name for fans of the reality shows "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race," gave a real-life performance yesterday for a cause near and dear to his heart - blood cancers.

Zohn, who is in remission from Hodgkin lymphoma, spoke to radio hosts across the country in 16 back-to-back interviews in top media markets including Atlanta, Denver, Minneapolis and Cleveland. He enthusiastically called for listeners to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) reach its goal to raise $300,000 in 30 days during Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Talking about his personal journey, Zohn emphasized how LLS helps patients and funds lifesaving research. Zohn benefitted from a stem cell transplant during his two bouts with a rare form of lymphoma and attributes much of his recovery to treatments funded by LLS.
