This Mother's Day Honor Your Mother with a Gift to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Where would you be without your mother's support? This time of year, we can't help but feel added gratitude toward the women who have made us who were are today. Moms like Katy Moeller, picture above with her daughter Audrey, overcome tremendous obstacles to protect their children.
At a young age, Audrey was diagnosed with Leukemia - the leading cancer among children and adolescents . In January, 2008, at the height of Audrey's cancer treatment, Katy joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training and completed the Carlsbad Marathon to fight blood cancers. Team In Training sports training program helped Katy Moeller "do something positive" for her daughter, Audrey. By participating, Katy could actively support life-saving cancer research by raising awareness and funds for a cure. It was a heroic gesture and a powerful example of a mother's love.
Whether your mom ran 26.2 miles, baked a batch of her famous home-made chocolate chips, or lovingly embraced you in a warm hug, she's been an insurmountable support in your life. This Mother's Day donate to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, fund life-saving research while you pay tribute to your mother and help ensure that every child stricken with a blood cancer can live a long and prosperous life!
If you are the mother of a child with leukemia or lymphoma, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is here to support you with information and resources.
Make a Memorial or Tribute donation by May 4th, 2009 and we will ensure delivery of a print acknowledgement card by Mother's Day, May 10th!
There's no better way to honor your mother on Mother's Day.
